Chios Mastiha Growers Association (in Greek)
Chios Gum Mastic Growers (CGMG) Association was founded (1938) as a body responsible for managing the gum mastic trade. It is run and managed by the mastic growers themselves via an elected committee. Today, CGMG has approx. 5000 members and its primary objectives are the collection, processing, packaging and sale of Chios Gum Mastic and its products.
The Mastiha Growers Association invests in the research mastic and promotes it globally.  In 2002, the Growers Association founded Mediterra S.A., a subsidiary that promotes mastiha and its beneficial attributes through mastihashop retail outlets.
