•    is inspired by the unique flavors of Greece, by the country’s exquisite raw ingredients and by the convivial nature of Greek cooking,
•    encompasses a series of integrated activities to promote Greek food, wine and spirits realized throughout the world.

The story behind “Kerasma” initiative

Greek raw ingredients and products spring from tradition and history,
from the care and attention of Greek farmers, producers
and the Greek food and beverage industries…


Greek food and wine, from tight-skinned olives to emerald olive oil, from luscious peaches to firm, ripe tomatoes, and indigenous grape varietals are all products of the sun-drenched, fertile land in which they flourish. Greek cheeses are made from the milk of animals that graze on the lush, rich, seasonal flora of the Greek earth. Greek wines are the modern fruits of an ancient tradition. Greek packaged foods, both at the gourmet, artisanal level and at the most developed, industrial levels are produced with pride and a keen awareness of place.

HEPO is organizing trade and retail campaigns, conferences, promotional events and more to share a taste of Greece with the rest of the world. We’ve started an English-language magazine, the GreekGourmetraveler, which is distributed to international food and beverage professionals and the press.

bridging tradition with timeliness …


Kerasma has much to bring to the global table. HEPO enlisted a core brigade of top Greek chefs to create contemporary Greek recipes using Greek ingredients such as olives and olive oil, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, Chios mastic, Greek honey, saffron, wines, ouzo and spirits, fishery, fresh fruits, vegetables, and more.
