Athens, 3rd November 2008
The 3nd International Kerasma Conference on Greek Gastronomy and Food, Wine and Spirits Industry Partenariat, organized by HEPO, came to a close with great success.
The Conference was organized under the auspice of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and was realized by virtue of the cooperation between HEPO and all the Food, Wine and Spirits Unions in Greece.
More than 100 representatives of prestigious super markets, long range food distribution networks and public opinion makers, coming from 18 target-foreign markets, participated in the Conference. Respectively, 90 of the most important Greek food, wine and spirits businesses had the opportunity to present their products and emphasize their special traits.
The aim of the Conference was to create favourable conditions under which the cooperation between Greek and foreign business is facilitated, to inform guests on the nutritional value and the special characteristics of the foods and wines of our country and to showcase the varied uses of the products. The targets of the Conference were fully met.
